Position: CAM Programming Expert (Fusion 360)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $120$175/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Author detailed 10-criterion rubrics for grading Fusion 360 CAM programs across various CAD models and machining contexts.
- Write clear verification rationale for each criterion to ensure objective and verifiable outcomes.
- Review sample CAM solutions and explain pass/fail outcomes based on expert machinist standards.
- Evaluate existing CAM programs to determine approval or rejection for production runs.
- Provide structured reasoning behind each criterion to enhance the quality of evaluation datasets.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Hands-on Fusion 360 CAM experience with access to a Fusion 360 license.
- Ability to program 4- and/or 5-axis CNC toolpaths.
- 5 years of CAM programming experience.
- Strong production judgment to assess real machine safety.
- Written English fluency for text-based deliverables.
Preferred
- CAM instructor or teaching experience.
