The Senior Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for service repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site including electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts.

This position is part of the Technical Service Department located in Prague and will be fully remote. You will be responsible for installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment in the territory of Czechia. You should be ideally located in commuting distance from Prague.

We are looking for a reliable and accurate team player who will take the responsibility for delegated tasks. A self-motivated and flexible person who is willing to travel at Beckman Coulter our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Technical Service Team and report to the Field Technical Service Manager responsible for managing installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter products. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Installation and service support for Beckman Coulter equipment
• Providing authoritative support on the site and by telephone
• Maintaining professional relationship with the customers by providing technical user training to customers
• Supporting new products introduction
• Supporting Service team in all customers related activities
• Reporting service activities entering and closing tasks
• Possess and continuously maintain and expand current knowledge of a wide range of technical procedures and activities performed within the company and across the industry.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline with 7 year experience in IVD
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Czech required
• Excellent user proficiency with computer systems and common software applications

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Logical and creative thinking and problem-solving approach
• Basic leadership skills to provide guidance training and instruction within a workspace or technical discipline.
• Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods to perform a variety of activities
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
