Popis poziceYou stay up to date with worldwide transport markets trends to continuously seek and challenge transport costs, profits and standards for long and short strategies planning You manage team of CE Primary Account Managers You visit and supervise haulers / suppliers service centers and depots to monitor and improve distribution processes, administration cover You advise and challenge the business on lean, cost effective solutions by working in partnership with Product Team and Supply Chain to work optimal distribution models You manage team of CE transport specialist on : on time and accurate data reporting, transport planning, performance management You keep close business relations with suppliers by daily review of transport data and periodical reviews at suppliers sites to confirm great standard of cooperation You challenge performance of 3rd party haulers spread worldwide providing transport resources You lead evaluation to ensure agreed steps are followed up by all sides of contractual cooperation You promote primary services by actively taking part in European Food and Transportation Congresses / Conferences You attend major transport market events across Europe to seek new partners and solutions You cooperate on site with Tesco Distribution Centers senior teams on Primary deliveries regarding performance on unloading, claims, damages and quality You review new technologies and alternative ways of deliveries to optimize transportation time and costs Experience in transport management Advanced level od English (C1) Experience in buying, selling and negotiating Understanding ways of working of domestic and internatio Finance management (sales, margins, costs) awareness Good negotiation and communication skills Analytical thinking FLEXIBILITY – The times of punishments for coming 5 minutes late are gone.
