HOW IS WORKING IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN AND DISTRIBUTION TEAM SPECIAL?
We are a team that ensures availability of goods to our customers. We are responsible for proper inventory management in distribution centers. We are also involved in developing new systems, processes and tools to continually improve and streamline inventory flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
You stay up to date with worldwide transport markets trends to continuously seek and challenge transport costs, profits and standards for long and short strategies planningYou manage team of CE Primary Account ManagersYou visit and supervise haulers / suppliers service centers and depots to monitor and improve distribution processes, administration coverYou advise and challenge the business on lean, cost effective solutions by working in partnership with Product Team and Supply Chain to work optimal distribution modelsYou manage team of CE transport specialist on : on time and accurate data reporting, transport planning, performance managementYou keep close business relations with suppliers by daily review of transport data and periodical reviews at suppliers sites to confirm great standard of cooperationYou challenge performance of 3rd party haulers spread worldwide providing transport resourcesYou lead evaluation to ensure agreed steps are followed up by all sides of contractual cooperationYou promote primary services by actively taking part in European Food and Transportation Congresses / ConferencesYou attend major transport market events across Europe to seek new partners and solutionsYou cooperate on site with Tesco Distribution Centers senior teams on Primary deliveries regarding performance on unloading, claims, damages and qualityYou review new technologies and alternative ways of deliveries to optimize transportation time and costsREQUIREMENTS :
Experience in transport managementAdvanced level od English (C1)Experience in buying, selling and negotiatingUnderstanding ways of working of domestic and internatioFinance management (sales, margins, costs) awarenessGood negotiation and communication skillsAnalytical thinkingHOW WILL WE MAKE YOU HAPPY?
