Senior Localization Engineer

You and the role :

Localization engineer is responsible for supporting the other team members, mostly in

project management from a technical perspective.

This can be achieved by the following :

Project files preparation and finalization, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of localized products.

Providing solutions and automation of new or existing processes to optimize efficiency and quality.

Quality assurance and validation checks.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to localization, including file format conversions, and encoding problems.

CAT tools mastering.

English speaking proficiency.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities :

Localization engineering (analyses, file preparation, QA and post-processing).

UI / UA localization.

Planning and management of the daily tasks.

Support to the team members.

Close cooperation with other departments.

Support to the clients from technical perspective – solution providing, optimization / automation, troubleshooting.

Competencies required :

Dedicated approach to localization.

Proven skills with CAT tools, MS Office – proficiency in localization tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, and others.

Strong understanding of localization and internationalization principles and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter / pro-activity.

Perform well under pressure.

Analytical thinking.

Planning and organizing.

Supportive and collaborative.

Decisive.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Scripting knowledge advantageous.

Candidate requirement :

• Level of Formal Education : Degree qualified
• Area of Study : Technical / Engineering
• Years of Experience : 4+ years
• Type of Experience : Technical, analytical, coordination, communication, engineering
• Skills and Attributes : Technical / Engineering
• Language Skills : Fluent in English – verbal & written level
