Summary of Position
The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in serving customer needs by ensuring that all customer orders are processed and finalized in a timely, reliable and error-free manner. This role also includes comprehensive customer master data maintenance, which is updated regularly and quickly as possible in accordance with company specifications and local software processing options.
The Customer Service Representative reports to Customer Service Manager.
Essential Functions
- Acceptance of orders by phone, fax or email
- Verification of data essential for the processing of orders in cooperation with all production sites
- Prompt entry of orders into the system in compliance with deadlines
- Invoice corrections / credit notes and recalculations
- Dispatch of mailings and information letters
- Coordinate delivery schedules and provide timely information to customers and account managers regarding maintenance or delivery changes / failures.
- Review and communicate weekly product availability
- Price maintenance of all products in the corresponding program
- Adheres to internal company policies and processes
