PR & Communications Manager

As the PR & Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our PR strategy, positioning Saxo as the premier choice for investors and traders in the Czech Republic who seek to make informed financial decisions. This role is pivotal as we aim to grow our client base and enhance the visibility of the Saxo brand across relevant audiences.

You will be based in our regional hub office in Prague and become a key member of Saxo Bank's Global Communications department. You will report to the Head of Marketing for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), with an additional reporting line to the Global Head of Communications & PR in Copenhagen. This structure supports strong local engagement while maintaining alignment with Saxo’s global communication strategies.

Saxo Bank’s Global Communications team is comprised of dedicated professionals managing all external and internal communications for the Group. In your crucial role located in the Czech Republic, you will spearhead the development and execution of communication strategies that effectively resonate across the CEE markets. Collaborating closely with the regional marketing teams, you will drive holistic storytelling and brand building tailored to meet the diverse needs and cultural nuances of the region. This local focus will ensure that our brand messaging is consistent, impactful, and strategically aligned with our global objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Saxo Bank's Global Communications team, marketing, and the regional CEO to manage and oversee PR agencies across the Central and Eastern European region. You are tasked with ensuring that our communications strategy is seamlessly integrated and consistently implemented across various markets within the region.

This includes selecting and guiding PR agencies to deploy innovative and effective communication strategies that align with our global standards while resonating locally. Your leadership will be key in building strong, productive agency relationships, ensuring that all PR activities are conducted with precision and reflect the Saxo Bank brand's values and objectives. Through your efforts, you will help amplify our presence and enhance media coverage across the region, leveraging local expertise and insights to adapt our approach according to specific market needs.

Responsibilities :

Develop and drive communication strategies and support the Saxo Bank brand in the Czech Republic and CEE through PR, content development, and thought leadership.

Draft press releases, pitches, and thought leadership content to support product launches and other corporate announcements.

Build relationships with key reporters in the Czech Republic to boost brand awareness and familiarity.

Collaborate closely with local management and leadership to align communications and prepare them for media engagements.

Create compelling content ranging from media pitch notes and byline articles to social media posts for LinkedIn.

Enhance Saxo's presence on relevant social media channels in coordination with the global Social Media team.

Utilise digital PR techniques to improve organic SEO rankings.

Your Profile :

You are an energetic person who can work independently, thinks out of the box and is not afraid of taking on responsibility

You have excellent knowledge of the media landscape

You have at least a few years of experience from a news desk, in journalism, from a PR agency or a corporate communications function

You are comfortable with collaboration and reaching across teams and functional borders, and serve as a liaison when needed

You are creative and resourceful

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Czech, with strong command of English.

Keen interest in trends in investing, fintech, and financial services, including client preferences and media consumption habits
