Job Description

PURPOSE

Management of SAP and Business Applications systems required to enable any Product LifeCycle Management and Cross Applications related processes within Envista. SAP is the leading ERP surrounded by different legacy applications e.g. Opal / Nicelabel, Solidworks which are the foundation for executing the core business processes.

Application Management does include as main tasks the management of projects, changes, support and training.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Product LifeCycle Management / ECTRProvide expertise within the Modules SAP PLM (Product LifeCycle Management), CA (Cross Application), ECTR Engineering Control Center and its Integration to CAD Systems and their integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems.Act as a subject matter expert for any process in the PLM, CA.Work closely with Business functions to plan, align priorities, implement and provide regular status updatesIdentify, analyze and propose improvement areas and opportunities in the supported processes and solutions.Support Business and IT members on transferring the knowledge of implemented functionalityEnsure the knowledge and the functionality being implemented is well documentedAlign with PLM Team Lead on the design and implementation of the solution, provide regular status updates, align priorities and capacity.
  • Project Management : Manage full lifecycle implementation projects or subprojects within budget, timeline, scope and qualityEnsure project methodology and quality standards are appliedManagement of external resources within the project
  • Change Management : Handle change requests from the business according to Envista Change Management processPropose changes that will represent a potential improvement to the business
  • Support / TrainingTraining of key users on the processes and applicationsHandling of support tickets. Handle day to day production issues related to SAP PLM.Provide and supervise documentation
  • Process and application maintenance : Application support for infrastructure changes and application upgradesProactively drive process standardization and reduction of complexity within the application landscape and business processesFollowing SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance and system / process validationDrive innovation within the application landscape and processes (simpler, better, more efficient)

Job Requirements :

  • University degree or equiv. diploma
  • Good communication skills and experience of working in multicultural global IT environment
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and encouraged to take new challenges
  • Fluent in English any additional language is a plus)
  • Good technical IT knowledge in the SAP PLM / CA modules and 3rd party labelling solutions :
  • Good knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (PP / MM / SD)
  • Good knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other external applications
  • Understand ABAP language and programs (BADI / BAPI, user-exits, Sapscript)
  • Proven experience of system configuration and implementation of SAP PLM and CA modules
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
