Finance Manager Czech Republic

Four our client, a multinational company leader in services sector, we are looking for a Finance Manager for one of their hubs in Prague.

The role, that will report to the Managing Director of the Prague office and the Finance Director of the HQ in Italy, is responsible for accounting operations required for month-end closing (intercompany, cash reconciliation, etc.), according to the business deadlines and following the Group policies. Some of his / her main responsabilities are :

• To manage the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, AP / AR, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities as required by the law and internal guidelines;
• To reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with the local Finance & Administration Team, Country Manager, and HQs functions when requested;
• To supervise Intercompany reconciliation and cash compensation;
• To produce peiodic reports and analyses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure the branch office's financial health and profitable growth;
• To provide recommendations and improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting Company strategy and best practices.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics and has gained at least 4 / 5 years of experience in the role of Finance Manager or Financial Controller within multinational companies, preferably in services sector. Knowledge of local fiscal regulation and in IFRS / IAS is a fundamental requirement. Proficiency in the English language is mandatory. Problem-solving skills and strong communication complete the profile.
