To create quality projects of exceptional bridge structures, we are looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our team. We are 8, in total, 12 in Prague working alongside our customers on some of North America and Middle East’s most innovative projects in Bridges. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Canakkale Bridge – with the longest span in the world.

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Prepare the bridge computer models and structural calculations
  • Structural drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, Lusas or similar 3D software package
  • Mentoring junior bridge designers
  • Project management, if interested
  • Participation in bid proposals

On top of that, you will have :

  • Master’s degree in structural engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Bridge Design, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Have a Czech professional license in the field of Bridges and engineering structures, or a foreign equivalent, OR the ability and willingness to pass the authorization exam in the future
  • Be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office and / or a 3D modelling software for bridge (Inventor or Revit).
  • Be proficient with SOFiSTiK, Midas or a similar analysis software package with a thorough understanding of structural behaviour. Experience with parametric modelling and Grasshopper will be an asset.
  • Be proficient in the use of engineering software such as Excel and MathCAD to efficiently produce engineering calculations.
  • Very good spoken and written English, minimum level B2
  • Be familiar with bridge design codes such as Eurocode, British Standard or AASHTO LRFD.
