The Opportunity
For our Abbott Transfusion Diagnostics Division ATM we are currently looking for a Field Sales Specialist to join our team in Czechia. This will be a field-based role requiring daily travelling across assigned territory (Czechia and Slovakia).
Core objective of the position
The Transfusion Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales efforts for transfusion product solutions and optimizing Abbott system utilization to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.
What You'll do :
- Full responsibility for sales targets, as well as planning and achieving performance goals.
- Realize profitability improvements by launching, developing and / or delivering transfusion product solutions that improve customer and Abbott company results.
- Develop a sales plan for your own area of responsibility.
- Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop a sales strategy.
- Execute programs and campaigns for assigned transfusion customers.
- Build sustainable customer relationships to increase sales.
- A college degree or equivalent level of experience is required. A college degree in the fields of medicine, life sciences, clinical chemistry or medical technology is preferred.
Required qualifications & background :
Preferably 2 years of experience in the diagnostics industry with a focus on sales or experience in a similar position proven by references.Good product and industry knowledge in the field of transfusion products.High level of commercial experience and motivation.Strong sales skills and successful relationship building.Outstanding social and communication skills as well as persuasiveness.Ability to develop and defend new ideas and approaches.Ability to identify and drive problem solving.Applicants must be fluent in the local languages and English. Additional language skills are an advantage.The position requires a high willingness to travel, i.e. an average of three days of travel per week.
