Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customization Developer to join our Messaging R&D team in Brno. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative group of engineers focused on customizing and enhancing messaging products such as SMS Center and MMS Center. You will work closely with cross-functional R&D teams and deployment engineers to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will engage in requirement analysis, project estimation, implementation, and support of your colleagues activities, all within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain customizations for messaging products (SMS, MMS, etc.)
Collaborate with other developers and R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Provide effort estimates and contribute to project planning and prioritization
Support deployment engineers during installation and troubleshooting of customizations
Perform basic engineering testing and validation of developed features
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Communicate effectively in Czech and English with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Linux-based environments

Strong scripting skills in Python and Lua

Experience with C++ or other compiled languages is a plus

Basic understanding of network communication protocols and principles

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication and negotiation skills

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Language Requirements :

Fluent in Czech (spoken and written)

Proficient in English (minimum B2 level)

Other :

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is an advantage

Previous experience in telecom or messaging systems is a plus
