Portfolio Analyst - Middle Office Trading

Job descriptionDegree in economics or sciences / engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the energy industry Good knowledge of the European power and gas markets Excellent project management skills Pragmatic, analytical and detailed-oriented Fluent in English - German, French, Italian, Spanish or any other language skills are a plus EU citizen or valid EU working permit
Your main responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the generation and validation of various reports, such as exposures and Profit / Loss calculations from trading activities.
- Consulting and supporting front trading units in capturing specific Trade Types.
- Identify sources of error and solve them proactively.
- Monitoring portfolio structures and processes interacting with them.
- Analyse key indicators, test new products in the trading system and support several cross-divisional processes.
- Execution of ETRM or BI System tests when new releases appear or assistance regarding migrations of deals or adjustments to trading systems.
- Participate in internal and external projects and / or related project management
- Overall, be a reliable business partner and in contact with different internal departments such as Front Office, Controlling, Risk Management and Back Office.
