Garrett is seeking a dynamic Should Cost Manager to drive innovation, efficiency, and strategic decision-making in our cost modeling and sourcing processes.
As Should Cost Manager, you will :
- Lead and develop a high-performing global team, managing workload, career growth, and training
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance cost transparency and supplier negotiations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, and product line teams to support new product development, value engineering and benchmarking
- Own technical expertise in cost modeling across manufacturing processes (casting, machining, stamping, injection molding)
- Hold responsibility for developing should cost models for the new technologies, suppliers, components
- Standardize processes and implement new tools and models to support innovation and cost optimization
We are looking for you if you have :
Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringMinimum 5 years in Automotive Should Cost, with deep knowledge in one or more areas : manufacturing, electronics, mechatronics, casting, machining, grinding, stamping, assembly...Fluent in EnglishStrong people leadership and project managementAnalytical mindset with cost engineering expertiseAbility to challenge supplier assumptions and drive cost-saving opportunitiesUnderstanding of market trends and geopolitical cost impactsExperience with working in multicultural, cross-functional teamsWhy Garrett?
