Job description

One of the world's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers of herbal medicines, with over 90 years of experience producing highly effective and well-tolerated phytopharmaceutical products known in over 40 countries - and they are now looking to recruit a colleague to join them on a permanent (hybrid) position as : Financial ControllerYou will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards andregulations and provides strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters.Your tasks-Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordancewith international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax legislation- Prepare an annual budgetary expenditure plan and monitor its implementation,including monthly cost and performance monitoring, as well as variance analysis- Creating ad-hoc analyses and reports for management- Oversee and manage the overall accounting and finance functions of the company- Work closely with external accounting services to handle accounting and payroll topicsand benefits’ administration;- Collaborate with internal and external auditors- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies- Implement financial policies and procedures- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial guidelines and regulations- Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions- Close cooperation with and reporting to the parent company with headquarter inGermany- Contact person for auditors and tax consultantsYour profile- You have a higher education in Business Administration, Finance or comparable field ofstudy- You have at least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting and controlling, ideally inan international environment- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)- Strong analytical skills and a pronounced affinity for numbers- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is anadvantage-

You are a native Czech or Slovak speaker,
