Senior Accountant (Czech speaker)

The Opportunity

For our International Finance Division we are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our great team in Czechia as a Senior Accountant .

This is a stationary, full-time position and requires daily presence in our office in Prague (Praha 6).

Senior Accountant will perform various accounting functions and activities in close cooperation with Accounting Supervisor / Chief Accountant and in compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

What You'll do :

• Post journal entries and accruals.
• Perform reconciliation of all balance sheet account items.
• Review and book travel expense reports and invoices.
• Review and reconcile all intercompany transaction.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Prepare tax returns, VAT reports and withholding tax reports.
• Prepare monthly and yearly statistics.
• Guide and provide support and expertise to junior members of the team.
• Participate in financial standards and policies setting.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
• Be focused on accounting and tax compliance.
• Perform other accounting duties in cooperation with Accounting Supervisor.
