Position Description :

Network & Security Engineer – Strengthen Our IT Security Team!

We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Network & Security Engineer to join our IT Enterprise Security Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure internet and private access services while ensuring a strong security framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security, Zero Trust principles, and IT infrastructure. Additionally, staying informed about emerging security threats and exploring opportunities for automation and process improvements will be essential.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Identify and resolve network and system issues to maintain high availability.
• Design, propose, and deploy network security solutions tailored to business needs.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including patching guidelines.
• Analyze, plan, and execute security-related projects with minimal supervision.
• Provide expertise in network security engineering and operational support.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure adherence to security standards.
• Follow established IT Service Management protocols (e.g., Incident & Change Management).
• Assist in monitoring and managing security systems for enhanced protection.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access.

3+ years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.

Strong knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks, access control, and network defense.

Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls.

Experience working with IPsec and SSL tunnels.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

Certifications such as CCNA, AWS, or Azure are a plus.

Understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC).

Experience working with Azure security configurations, NSG, and network monitoring.

Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and ethical hacking concepts.

Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Practical experience with Python scripting for security automation.
