Job Overview :

Customer and internal communication about ML-based LIDAR functionality

Process definition and development of ML-based projects

Requirements engineering for ML-based SW components

Define / develop validation methods for given feature

Analyze validation results and develop feature further based on the results

Perform engineering assessment of proposed change requests

Cooperate with SW developers to implement the feature into firmware

Optimization of ML models to fit into Embedded HW (TI DSP)

International travel for the purposes of data acquisition and customer communication

Applicant requirements :

Finished university-level education in the area of Cybernetics, Robotics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, System Engineering or similar field

Programming skills (Python - mainly ML packages and visualizations, optional C / C++)

Experience with ML-based product development - selection and preprocessing of data, model training and evaluation

Reasonable mathematical background in the area of computer vision, 3D geometry or similar

Good level of English to communicate within international teams

Proactive, quality oriented engineering attitude and team spirit

Experience with formal (quality-controlled) product development process

Experience with LIDAR
